Bengkel NVIVO

Abstract
This workshop, conducted by Dr. Kamarul Azmi Jasmi from the Islamic Civilization Academy, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, focuses on the application of NVivo software in qualitative research, particularly in education and Islamic studies. The participants will learn to process verbatim data, create case classifications, and perform data coding using NVivo22. The workshop includes practical sessions, guiding researchers through importing data, separating focus group data, and conducting axial coding. Additionally, participants will explore how to create matrix tables, develop models, and export data for reporting purposes.
Description
The workshop aims to enhance the skills of researchers in using NVivo22 software for qualitative research. Through hands-on activities, participants will familiarize themselves with essential functions such as data import, classification, and coding. The workshop will cover topics including the history and development of NVivo, how to separate focus group data, and the process of building new case classifications. Participants will also learn to create thematic codes and matrix tables and export their findings for further analysis and reporting. This workshop is particularly beneficial for researchers in education and Islamic studies, offering them tools for more effective data analysis.
